Hi Michael, really looking forward to Solomon Kane after enjoying Death Watch and Wilderness… Im really after some advice… I am 7foot tall and very eager to land an acting gig… Being a…erm, difficult height I know my options will be extremley limited… Who do you tend to use for casting ? or any suggestions for contacts etc?

    • Hi Phil
      Glad you like the films.
      I don’t think being tall should be any problem for you, so long as you don’t mind mostly playing monsters, aliens and guys in some form of costume. Take dance classes, acting classes, movement classes and martial arts – movement and physical control are everything. In Solomon Kane I actually used a 7ft chap named Ian Whyte who is a ’specialist’ performer. He’s a really nice guy and I’m sure would be much more helpful than I could be about what the best career move for you would be I think the best thing is to drop him a line and ask for his advice. http://www.ianwhyte.com/
